Here are some additional tips for success:
- Follow the grading rubric to maximize your points.
- Create headings in your slides for the key areas outlined in the rubric to ensure you cover each aspect of the rubric.
- Any ideas that are not your own should include in-text citations and references using APA formatting.
- Check spelling and grammar.
- Use a consistent font style so that slides are easily readable and not distracting.
- You may be creative and use photos, charts, graphs, and other visualizations to spark interest.
- Use short bulleted snip-its of information rather than long narratives.
- Do not copy/paste paragraphs from journals and textbooks into a slide.
- Summarize critical points using short bulleted text.
