Why do we overeat?
Introduction:
Rates of childhood obesity have tripled in the last 2 decades (Weir, 2012). The APA has a growing body of literature reflecting this concern regarding childhood obesity. We know that eating is not motivated by physical hunger alone. For example, have you ever eaten when you were already full? For this assignment you will explore some of the factors that contribute to overeating.
